TL;DR
What did COMMAND use Claude for?
A content studio added Metricool as a custom connector in Claude and prompts it to place approved short clips on the content calendar for Facebook, YouTube Shorts and TikTok; they say they scheduled 50-plus posts in about two to three hours. They have run the system for about a year and say "we scheduled 50-plus posts in about 2 to 3 hours with this system."
What they did
They signed up for a Metricool plan with API access, connected their social accounts in Metricool, then added a custom connector in Claude using the Metricool MCP URL and granted access. They start a fresh Claude session for each scheduling request to save tokens and prompt it to put the approved clips on the Metricool calendar at set times, then refresh the calendar to confirm each post landed.
How it went
They have run the system for about a year and say "we scheduled 50-plus posts in about 2 to 3 hours with this system."
Worth knowing
- API access needs Metricool's Advanced plan or higher. Some posts fail and show in red on the calendar. They hit Claude plan usage limits before finishing a batch.
- Price check: Claude: free plan; Pro: US$20/month, or US$17/month on a yearly plan (US$200/year) (checked Nov 1, 2026); Metricool: free plan; Starter: US$25/month, or US$20/month on a yearly plan (US$240/year) (checked Oct 26, 2026).
