TL;DR

What did Dave, Nexus Motion use Claude for?

A studio owner feeds client call transcripts to Claude with a custom skill, and gets a project brief, action items, a follow-up email and scope-creep flags by comparing against earlier calls in an Obsidian vault. "One transcript, six outputs, and I never re-listen to a single minute of the recording." They give the example of catching a client who first asked for three logo versions and later mentioned five.

What they did

They give Claude a call transcript (saved in their Obsidian vault) and ask for a summary, then ask it to scope the project. A custom skill they built sets the brief's structure: deliverables, specs, timeline, budget range, key contacts and open questions. Claude also checks the client's Gmail thread for name spellings and specs sent by email, pulls every action item with owner and deadline into a to-do file, drafts a follow-up email, and compares the call with earlier transcripts to flag scope changes. At project end, the same files feed a case study draft.

How it went

"One transcript, six outputs, and I never re-listen to a single minute of the recording." They give the example of catching a client who first asked for three logo versions and later mentioned five.

Here's the transcript of my call with [client]. Give me: a short summary; a project brief with deliverables, specs, timeline and open questions; every action item with who owes it and by when; and a short follow-up email. Then compare it to this earlier call and list anything that changed in scope or deadlines.
