TL;DR
What did paul7986 use Suno for?
A songwriter who has written songs since high school records a song into a voice memo, or uses old MP3 demos, and uploads it through Suno's cover feature to get a full-band version. They say turning old demos into full tracks was a fun trip down memory lane and that their songs now sound professional. After a few months the novelty wore off for them and they canceled their subscription.
What they did
They sing a song with their guitar into a voice memo, or take old guitar, keyboard and vocal demos they had mixed and exported as MP3s, and upload them with Suno's cover feature to produce full tracks.

Worth knowing
- Check Suno's current terms on uploads and ownership before releasing anything, and only upload songs you wrote. The novelty can fade, as it did for this songwriter.
- Price check: Suno: free plan; Pro: US$10/month, or US$8/month on a yearly plan (US$96/year) (checked Oct 26, 2026).

(In Suno, upload your demo and choose Cover.) Style: "[genre], full band, [tempo] BPM, keep the original melody and chord progression, [male/female] vocal, warm and natural production." Paste your exact lyrics in the lyrics box so the words don't change.
