TL;DR
What did u/Cookienomster45 use ChatGPT for?
A Suno user shared a long prompt that has ChatGPT run spectral noise reduction on an uploaded WAV file and return a cleaned track plus a file of what was removed, aimed at the grainy static some Suno songs have. They said their files came out very clean with no grainy texture, and a newer user said it noticeably improved their rock ballad.
What they did
They download the song as a WAV and upload it to ChatGPT with a step-by-step prompt. It asks for a noise profile built from the quietest 12% of the recording, gentle reduction (about 7 dB at most) that barely touches frequencies below 350 Hz and works harder on the high end, and the original sample rate and length kept. It asks for two files back, the clean mix and the removed noise, with no extra EQ, compression or mastering, and tells ChatGPT to say so if it can't actually process the file.
How it went
They said their files came out very clean with no grainy texture, and a newer user said it noticeably improved their rock ballad.
Worth knowing
- A commenter who ran it exactly as written found the phase-cancellation steps add nothing, and that when the quietest part of a song is soft piano, the 'noise' profile removes piano notes. Another said a Grok version removed too much. Commenters also argued Suno's WAV downloads aren't truly lossless. The poster says results vary.

I've uploaded a WAV of my song. Apply gentle noise reduction to remove the hiss and static: keep the original sample rate, length and stereo, barely process frequencies below 350 Hz, and reduce no more than about 7 dB anywhere. Don't add EQ, compression or mastering. Return the cleaned WAV and a separate file of the removed noise so I can check nothing musical was taken out. If you can't actually process the audio, tell me instead of pretending.
