Avoided outsourcing they estimate at tens of thousands of dollars
TL;DR
What did u/Chinaski14 use ChatGPT for?
An ecommerce owner used ChatGPT's coding agent to clean up their analytics, email segments and site code, about 150 hours over three weeks. They say the rebuild took about three weeks and 150 hours, and would have cost tens of thousands of dollars to outsource.
What they did
The owner had ChatGPT scan their GA4 setup. It flagged problems such as a third-party cart not firing add-to-cart events, wholesale and point-of-sale orders mixing into online sales, and marketplace sales showing up as website sales. They then segmented Klaviyo more deeply, built a hub that tracks the team's departments, set an alert for warehouse orders not shipped within 24 hours, and removed old app code and pixels. It also reviews the privacy policy monthly and logs each day's changes to ClickUp as a write-up for their business partner.
How it went
They say the rebuild took about three weeks and 150 hours, and would have cost tens of thousands of dollars to outsource.

Worth knowing
- They warn, "these things hallucinate so always double check the work it did. Never do anything on your live theme." It still took about 150 hours of their time.

Here is an export of my GA4 events and my Shopify order report for the same month. Compare them and list any sales or add-to-cart events that look missing, double counted, or coming from the wrong channel, and tell me what to check in each tool to confirm.
