About 4 minutes a month after about an hour of setup
TL;DR
What did u/Easterncoaster use Claude for?
An online seller lets QuickBooks handle bank transactions while Claude works through API transactions, reconciles them, writes month-end journal entries and updates cost of goods from invoices in Google Drive. They say it "Takes about 4 minutes per month after an hour or so of initial setup."
What they did
QuickBooks automates off every bank transaction, and Claude works from every API transaction, then reconciles the two and provides the month-end journal entries. It also pulls vendor invoices from Google Drive to update cost-of-goods batches, and produces an audit trail, including a monthly PDF saved with the journal entry in QuickBooks.
