TL;DR
What did u/nonibear89 use Claude for?
A salesperson connected Claude to their CRM so it fills their lead list, logs their calls, flags which leads are worth a follow-up, and pulls the last call's transcript before a callback. They built their setup on the back of Claude instead of building their own internal model.
What they did
They hooked Claude into their CRM. It fills their lead list, logs their calls and tells them which leads are worth following up with. Before a callback, they have Claude pull the transcript of the earlier call so they remember what the person said.
How it went
They built their setup on the back of Claude instead of building their own internal model.
Worth knowing
- The post doesn't name the CRM. Others in the thread keep it read-only or require approval for every write, since one bad write can spoil pipeline data. One commenter warned that people stop reading approvals after the 40th prompt, and suggested letting AI add notes and tasks freely but always having a person approve changes to stage, amount, close date or owner, shown as a before-and-after diff.
- Price check: Claude: free plan; Pro: US$20/month, or US$17/month on a yearly plan (US$200/year) (checked Nov 1, 2026).

Before my callback with [name], pull the transcript and notes from our last call. Give me three bullets on what they said they needed, any promise I made, and one question to open with. Don't change anything in the CRM.
More people who did this
- u/BagAdministrative330 (Reddit, Oct 2, 2026): Keeps AI read-only on the CRM: it drafts follow-up notes and summaries, and nothing writes back without a person approving it.
