From 20+ minutes to about 5 minutes per quote
TL;DR
What did Cristian Liani (@liani_does) use ChatGPT for?
A sales rep gave ChatGPT all the pricing files he uses for custom quotes and had it build an interactive quoting tool that runs in the browser, cutting a quote from 20-plus minutes to about five. In his words, a quote "Used to take me 20+ minutes to put one together. Now it takes about 5 minutes with no mistakes."
What they did
He used to put custom quotes together from PDF price sheets and Excel files. He gave ChatGPT all the pricing files he works from and had it build an interactive quoting tool that runs right in the browser. Some of his quotes cover several vehicles, each with many possible configurations.
How it went
In his words, a quote "Used to take me 20+ minutes to put one together. Now it takes about 5 minutes with no mistakes."

Worth knowing
- The tool only knows the prices you gave it, so it needs updating whenever a price sheet changes. Check the first few quotes against the old way before sending them to customers.
- Price check: ChatGPT: free plan; Go: US$8/month (checked Nov 1, 2026).

Here are my price sheets and product option files. Build a simple quoting tool I can open in my browser: I pick the products, quantities and options, and it adds up the line items and total using only these prices. Show every line so I can check it, and flag any option combination the price sheets don't cover.
