TL;DR
What did Benjamin Preston use Claude for?
A productivity creator connected Claude to Notion with access to only chosen pages, then has it turn raw meeting and client-call notes into project pages with summaries, task lists and statuses. Claude creates and fills the pages in the right place instead of handing back text to paste, and the connector can read, create and update but not delete.
What they did
They added Notion through Claude's connectors and, at the permission step, shared only one project area at first. After a client call they paste notes and ask Claude to log them in the project database with statuses and follow-up tasks. They also have it file raw notes as proper pages, tidy a messy database, roll a week of scattered notes into one summary page, update stale tracker statuses, and lay out the skeleton for a new project.
How it went
Claude creates and fills the pages in the right place instead of handing back text to paste, and the connector can read, create and update but not delete.
Worth knowing
- It only sees pages shared into the connection, so "can't find" usually means the page is out of scope. Now and then it puts something in the wrong database property, so check what it creates.

Take these meeting notes and create a new project page in my Projects database with a short summary, a task list with owners, and the right status. Add follow-up tasks with due dates, and tell me anything you weren't sure where to file.
