Thousands of dollars a month
TL;DR
What did Christian Peverelli use Claude Code for?
A non-coder YouTuber built a Claude Code editing setup where Parakeet transcribes, Hyperframes renders animations, Tella handles screen recordings, Epidemic Sound supplies music and FFmpeg finishes the file, all guided by a 1,400-line style skill. They say the video was edited by the system while they slept, and their only jobs are hitting record and giving feedback.
What they did
They split editing into jobs and gave each to a tool, with Claude Code in the desktop app coordinating locally. Nvidia's free Parakeet transcribes with timestamps so Claude can pick takes; HeyGen's free Hyperframes turns Claude-written animations into 4K video; Claude uses Chrome to grab screenshots of posts or pages as B-roll; Tella's MCP connector handles screen-recording cuts, zooms and layout; Epidemic Sound is connected for music and effects; FFmpeg removes black frames and checks audio sync. A skill file called YouTube-Edit, about 1,400 lines that Claude Code wrote for them, holds their colors, fonts, animations and sound rules.
How it went
They say the video was edited by the system while they slept, and their only jobs are hitting record and giving feedback.

Worth knowing
- It needs a paid Claude plan, and Epidemic Sound is a paid subscription. They still review every edit and give feedback. The Claude Code permission setting is put on auto so it can run without approvals, which hands it a lot of control over the work folder.
- Price check: Claude: free plan; Pro: US$20/month, or US$17/month on a yearly plan (US$200/year) (checked Nov 1, 2026); Epidemic Sound: no free plan; Creator: US$17.99/month, or US$5.99/month on a yearly plan (US$71.88/year) (checked Oct 26, 2026).

Help me write an editing style skill for my YouTube videos. Ask me about my colors, fonts, how I like cuts and zooms, when to show B-roll, and what music fits the hook versus the main section. Then save it as a skill file you follow every time you edit a video in this folder.
