After days of back and forth with Claude to build a sales page that converted, a solo business owner had Claude read back over the conversation and write a reusable skill with the same structure, copy method, voice and visual style. What they did
At the end of the long chat where they built the sales page for one of their products, they pasted a prompt written with XML tags. It told Claude to act as a skill author, read back over everything in the conversation, and write a SKILL.md that keeps four things: the framework, the copywriting method, the voice and the visual style. It had to strip out anything specific to that product, use placeholders where product details are needed, cover only the sales page, and work in order without skipping ahead, copy first. They saved the skill, and for the next product they start a new chat asking Claude to build a sales page and ask about any blanks.

Worth knowing
- The skill is only as good as the finished page it was made from, and the source conversation was so long that Claude offered to write the skill from what it could see and confirm the parts it was unsure about. They share their own sales page skill through a paid community.
