Newsletter writer keeps voice, audience and Notes skills in one folder that works across Claude and ChatGPT

The writer behind a 13,000-subscriber AI newsletter writes their own drafts, then polishes them with skills that hold their voice, audience, business context and revision habits, all stored in one folder that works in Claude Code, Cowork, ChatGPT and Codex.

TL;DR

What did Daria Cupareanu (AI Blew My Mind) use Claude for?

The writer behind a 13,000-subscriber AI newsletter writes their own drafts, then polishes them with skills that hold their voice, audience, business context and revision habits, all stored in one folder that works in Claude Code, Cowork, ChatGPT and Codex. They say their drafts come back almost final. They still pick every topic, write the drafts and make the final call on everything published under their name.

What they did

They built one skill describing their audience and another describing their business, and give both to Claude whenever they build a new system. For writing, they use a Voice DNA skill, a separate skill for article introductions, a skill for structuring articles and a Draft to Final skill that teaches the AI how they revise. These live as text files in one folder that works in Claude Code, Cowork, ChatGPT and Codex. Because the folder also holds finished articles, their Substack Notes skill can turn parts of an article into standalone Notes without them passing material back and forth. They batch short-form content one day a week.

How it went

They say their drafts come back almost final. They still pick every topic, write the drafts and make the final call on everything published under their name.

Worth knowing

  • Part of the post is for paid subscribers, and several workflows run on Amplifiers, a set of tools the author helped build, so mild self-promotion. They rely on AI more for Notes than for articles because they hold articles to a higher standard.
  • Price check: Claude: free plan; Pro: US$20/month, or US$17/month on a yearly plan (US$200/year) (checked Nov 1, 2026); ChatGPT: free plan; Go: US$8/month (checked Nov 1, 2026).
