Etsy digital product seller rewrites 120 listings with a Claude skill after an AI image disclosure change

What they did

They had Claude go through the products in their shop and build a task list in Notion of listings that needed updating, each linked to its Etsy page. Then they built a Claude skill triggered by typing 'update this Etsy listing' and pasting the link. It reads the listing and returns three new title options and a better description in their current format, with the AI disclaimer included. They also keep a voice skill built from their best writing and a list of banned phrases, and use it for product and pin descriptions but not their Substack posts, which they write by hand. The same day they built a ChatGPT plugin that turns reference images and a product description into a batch of 10 Pinterest pins with titles, descriptions and alt text, and a Claude skill using Claude in Chrome uploads and schedules them.

How it went

They say each listing gets updated in minutes and every listing now follows the same format, which also cleaned up older descriptions full of AI fluff and emojis.
