Newsletter time down from at least 3 hours a week to a couple of hours
TL;DR
What did Blog Marketing Academy - David Risley use Claude for?
A weekly newsletter writer dictates his articles, has Claude structure them and do the proofing, links, feature image and email draft, then edits by hand. He says the newsletter used to take at least three hours a week by hand and still takes a couple, but more of that time now goes to writing.
What they did
He dictates his thoughts for each feature article, and Claude, which knows his newsletter's structure and his voice profile, turns them into a draft that he then edits by hand. Claude skills proofread the draft, add internal links from his archive of past issues, generate a feature image and place it on a Canva template, publish the issue, and build the FluentCRM email draft. Every issue is archived to his notes so Claude can search back issues.
How it went

Here is my rough dictated draft for this week's newsletter article. Keep my points, order and voice, tighten it into the section structure I use, and mark any sentence where you changed my meaning. Then list past issues I could link to.
