THEIR CLAIM

Roughly €300 to €1,500 a year compared with a profit app

TL;DR

What did u/Secure_Sorbet_8671 use Claude for?

A small ecommerce brand canceled its profit app and rebuilt it as a live Claude dashboard fed by Shopify, ad spend and Xero data. They see today's estimated profit instead of waiting weeks for the accounts, and use the month-end run as the real number.

What they did

The dashboard is a saved Claude artifact that pulls fresh data each time it opens. Shopify revenue, orders and cost of goods come in through Claude's Shopify connector, daily Google and Meta ad spend comes through an n8n workflow, overheads are a daily rate from Xero, and postage, packaging and payment fees sit in a settings panel. It shows a margin waterfall from revenue down to estimated profit over rolling 1 to 60 day windows.

How it went

They see today's estimated profit instead of waiting weeks for the accounts, and use the month-end run as the real number.

"Against the n8n cost that's roughly €300 to €1,500 a year back, and you own the logic instead of renting it."

Worth knowing

  • They say a Claude subscription "eats a good chunk of the saving" if you don't already pay for it, it took a few evenings versus an afternoon for an app, APIs change once or twice a year, and the in-month view "is a guide more than the final number."
