What you’re working toward

The Transformers project demonstrates loading an image-classification model through its high-level pipeline interface.

Who it’s for: Developers exploring visual classification. Experience: advanced.

A practical way to start

  1. Choose permitted images and write down the distinctions you want to test.
  2. Select the documented image-classification pipeline and inspect its model card.
  3. Run a small sample, including ambiguous images and examples outside the expected categories.
  4. Record incorrect labels and avoid relying on the output for consequential decisions.

Know the limits

  • A label does not establish identity, intent or factual truth.
  • Models are limited by their training categories and data.

Cost and alternatives

Check the tool profiles and current provider plans before starting. Model usage, hosting and optional connectors may have separate costs. Alternative tools need their own configuration and evaluation.
