Print-on-demand seller lets ChatGPT build an Etsy listing

What they did

The seller asked ChatGPT to choose a niche for a print-on-demand pillow. It picked a vintage English garden songbird design, then made the front and back artwork, lifestyle mockups, 13 tags, a title and a description. The seller resized the art in Canva to fit Printify's print area and asked ChatGPT for pricing based on production, shipping and Etsy fees.

How it went

The seller got a complete listing in a niche they say they wouldn't have come up with on their own. ChatGPT also suggested a price for the smallest pillow, close to what the shop charges for a similar indoor pillow.

Worth knowing

• You still need to know the product's print specs: the front and back art came out as one image that had to be split, and Canva topped out at 6,000 by 3,000 pixels when the print provider recommended 8,000. The seller also adds their own shop policies and cards. The channel sells a print-on-demand workbook.
