TL;DR

What did u/BabyRoro007 use Gemini for?

An e-commerce agency copywriter who writes 8 or more pieces a day gives the same brief to Gemini and Claude, uses the overlap to spot stock AI phrasing, and retypes the useful parts instead of editing AI text directly. They say a normal email campaign takes about 30 minutes this way. They never edit AI text directly, because that's the part that eats time.

What they did

They start a blank doc with the campaign name, task link and segment from the brief, then paste the brief into two AI chats, usually Gemini and Claude. What both models write shows them the standard AI version, so they know which phrases to avoid. They paste anything worth keeping below their draft and retype it above, adding their own copy in between. When they get stuck on a phrase or a transition before a heading, they leave a note in brackets, paste the whole draft back into the AI and ask for options for the missing parts.

How it went

They say a normal email campaign takes about 30 minutes this way. They never edit AI text directly, because that's the part that eats time.

Worth knowing

  • This still means writing by hand, and the rule against pasting AI text directly is theirs to keep. The original poster in the thread found their own editing pass on AI drafts took longer than writing from scratch.
  • Price check: Google Gemini: free plan; Google AI Plus: US$4.99/month (checked Nov 1, 2026); Claude: free plan; Pro: US$20/month, or US$17/month on a yearly plan (US$200/year) (checked Nov 1, 2026).

Try it yourself

Paste this into a chatbot, then add your own details underneath.

Here is my draft email with gaps marked in [brackets], each with a note about what's missing. For each gap, give me three short options that match the sentences around it. Don't change anything outside the brackets.
