TL;DR

What did Chasing Sunsets Photo + Film use Aftershoot for?

A husband-and-wife photo team used Aftershoot's cull and their own AI editing profile to finish over half a gallery on a two-hour bus ride.

What they did

While traveling in Italy they ran Aftershoot's cull-to-target, which picked 414 images, and reviewed it down to 345. Aftershoot then edited 262 of 1470 photos with an AI profile trained on about 2,500 of their own edited photos. The edits export to Lightroom Classic, and the key images go to a retoucher.

How it went

Over half the gallery was done during a two-hour bus ride.

Worth knowing

  • They still review the cull by hand and send hero images to a retoucher. An older laptop runs it more slowly.
